time after time ...

Have you ever noticed
how when life gets really busy ...
that it just seems to pass you by ...

all of the flowers bloom in your garden
as you rush past them on your way
to a meeting
to work
to do the errands ...

and one day you slow down and notice
that they need to be
deadheaded

and you stop and pause
long enough to think
wtf!

when did that happen?
why is it
that it seems to happen more often now ...

when I should in fact have more time ...
to stop
and admire
to smell
the fragrance of the blooms ...
