What a girl wants ............
sounds kind of silly from someone in their 50's

but I do think that deep down inside of all of us .....
we are forever girls.

I think that I would like some honesty ......

don't make promises that you can not keep

or tell me lies that you
think
that I want to hear

hold me while I cry inside
for a world's indifferences

recognize that I have a bleeding heart
for all of the most liberal of causes
that I am creative, resourceful and whole

recognize that I do have a brain
and that most days it works quite well
and in fact
at times
in warp speed
in great magnitudes
with over whelming volumes of information

but most of all
I want
you to recognize
that I never would have said
I care
if I didn't
and would only like the same respect back ......

the real question would be ......

Have you ever wondered why
for some people
it is so easy to live a lie ......
to fabricate
a lovely little
happy ever after
with someone that they say they care about
who in fact
is just someone
to pass the time of day,
with no signifigant relevance,
with ........
